This work presents a conceptual framework and a technique of polygonal curves metamorphosis. The concept of polygonal curves metamorphosis is based on the concept of deformation  and metamorphosis of graphical objects. Based on these concepts, this work studies the main techniques of polygonal curves metamorphosis, allowing to compare and classify them. It's also presented and implemented a technique of polygonal curves metamorphosis based on the curve evolution theory approach.
