In this thesis we introduced a filtering method, by means of stellar and handle operators, for a representation in multiresolution of solids. In 
each level of resolution, we have a sampling by Poisson disks with particular 
characteristics. With this filtering, it is possible to generate adaptive meshes 
so that the resolution and topology are controlled in an unified way.
