A previous production of The Tempest pushed the boundaries of theater with digital technology. In 2016, as part of commemoration of the 400th-anniversary of Shakespeare’s death, The Royal Shakespeare Company with technological support of Intel, produced The Tempest using ground breaking motion capture technology to recreate the spirit, Ariel.
